You will enter on the Main Gate on Holcomb Blvd, Camp Lejeune. Please be aware that it will be about a 20 to 30 Min Drive to SMTC.
As you drive into the base, you will see a Safety At Sea sign on your immediate right. It will lead you into a small parking lot. We will have some staff members there to assist you. Every car entering the base must have at least one person who has a Goverment Issued ID Card. If you do not have a person with an ID Card, we will have someone who will ride in your car to allow you access to the base. If you have more than one individual who have ID Cards, we may ask for a volunteer to ride with someone who does not have an ID. We hope to be able to greet you at the parking lot between 7:15 and 7:30 am
From I-40: Exit at 373 (NC 24 - Jacksonville) - follow NC 24 east into Jacksonville it will be called Lejeune BLVD- follow signs for Camp Lejeune Main Gate. Upon entering the main gate follow Holcomb Blvd. approximately 3 miles, take the exit on right just past the over pass to merge onto Wilson Blvd. After approx. 1 mile merge onto Sneads Ferry Rd. Follow Sneads Ferry Rd. through the industrial area, past the Ammunition Supply Point (approximately 4 miles), and at the blinking traffic signal turn right onto Marines Rd. Go approximately 5 miles until you come to another traffic signal, (entrance to Courthouse Bay) and proceed straight through the light. There will be signs directing you to the parking area in across from Ellis Field and front of the Court House Bay Galley on the right.
From Jacksonville Airport:
Turn right onto SR-111 (SR-1001) east. Turn right onto SR-258 (SR-24) east. US-258 (SR-24) east merges onto US-17 (SR-24) east. Follow NC 24 east into Jacksonville - follow signs for Camp Lejeune main gate. Upon entering the main gate follow Holcomb Blvd. approximately 3 miles, take the exit on right just past the over pass to merge onto Wilson Blvd. After approx. 1 mile merge onto Sneads Ferry Rd. From Wilmington:
If you have base access you can go straight to the Event.
Follow US-17 north through Hampstead and Holly Ridge. Approx. 4 miles north of Holly Ridge turn right onto NC-172 W and stay on this road for approx. 11 miles (going through the Sneads Ferry Gate). Upon reaching the second light after the Seads Ferry Gate, turn right onto Horn Rd (gas station will be on the right). There will be signs directing you to the parking area in across from Ellis Field and front of the Court House Bay Galley on the right.
